Actually, in about 15-20 days a whole new methods being launched, under the late pope's instructions. Hes 'modified' it but its still the ancient tradition. they have to find the rightful succeedor, you cant have just anyone on the catholic 'throne' can ya now.

I'm not Catholic but I am still sad. Pope Jean Paul was a great man...he will be missed

i honestly thought he died on april 1st when i waz listening to a radio station and they said he had passed on .... and i wuz on my way out soo i didnt get the full info .... i guess it was a April fools joke ....not to funny i may add... but he passed on today?

ok, it's official now. he is dead. and that's just awful... cause now i do feel like something's gonna be different even though i'm orthodox...:confused:

geez, heaps and heaps of people die every day, and everyones cryin and havin a fit over one guy. (u may have gathered im not very religious)

no a group of 117 cardinals will take care of business while electing a new pope.

this "one guy" was pivotal in the fall of communism which would have affected us eventually. he brought religions together so basically prevented war. he saved countless numbers of jewish lives during the second world war. he was pure goodness who "loved everyone"- something that unfortunately you do not see in most people today. thats why he will be so greatly missed.
