they need to embrace the modern culture. thats what im saying. nowadays homosexuality is not a taboo. its socially acceptable (well, more so than ever). abortion is seen as a matter of free-will. in some ways it is seen as unethical but the flip side is it could also be seen as ethical to young girls and/or women. divorce is commonplace today. it has positives aswell as negatives.

But as i said abortion can create a whole nother thread on that topic, because there are plenty of people who could and/or would want the child, so it is best to just give the child up for adoption., besides why risk your live to kill another when both can be spare by adoption?

just as many women and children die from complication during childbirth, and how is it our decision to say whether or not the 12 year old girl who has been raped by her father or some crackhead should go through with a pregnancy (just as an example) only to have her body changed not only physically but hormonally for 9 months and then give this child that she has been nurturing inside her body up to someone else? there are many good reasons why a female should have an abortion. I agree that you shouldnt be makin them if you dont want them, but that is not always the case. End of discussion for me, i have to take MY daughter to the dentist.

adoption can be unethical towards the child anyway. they would find out sooner or later and the idea that they were rejected by their real mother can be soul destroying.

No, i merely think it is strange that a situation like abortion could ever be considered illeagal or not, surely it is the persons choice as they are the only person that knows how they feel under that particular situation.

bah the church sure made up for that throughout history. the burnings, murders and everything else you mentioned was also done by the catholics. in my opinion the only religion that could bitch about anything is the jews. all other atrocities pale in comparison to the history of these people.

Most adopted children know that they were adopted as soon as they can understand it. It's not traumatizing to the child at all, it would be worse to keep them in a home where the mother isn't able to care for them.
