Not sure, I'm not much of a talker myself when it comes to personal problems. You may have gotten another impression of me, but that's really true.
I do like it thought when people tell me their problems, even if they are childhood-based. History still counts today. There's a lot of reasons why you act like you act right now, because of things that have happened in your childhood.

I understand that but sometimes those things in the past are just so horrible and you feel like crap and get down every time you talk about them so why keep ripping open the flesh wound?

Because if you don't let the wound heal properly it will cause an infection at some point.
You can't get past certain **** just by 'not talking about it'.
It will come back at some time.

Very true. I had an iffy childhood in some respects, but I make due.

I don't think I would have cared about knowing anything more than I do now. I would have still felt the same. In actuality I don't think I've learned anything. I just think differently.

I think it all depends on the person. Some people are able to do it while others aren't

I wish I had known:

- That the top bunk wasn't, nor ever will be, the best.
- That regardless of how many vitamins you mix together, you will not hallucinate.
- That you cannot pee into a face towel without getting any on the ground, and the bet is rigged.
- That I never really danced well. The alcohol was wrong.
- That smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol isn't as awesome as my physiological and psychological existence would lead me to believe.
- That cocaine is a hell of a drug.
- That dying is for fools.

This is me talking to me:

- When people told you, "Before you can love someone else, you need to love yourself," they weren't completely full of shit. Self-loathing really gets in the way.

- High school should really be the time of your life; you have to grow up afterwards, and probably won't even see 99% of those people on a regular basis again after graduation, so there was no reason not to live it up a little.

- The majority of people don't think they're "too good" for you, and to think otherwise is completely paranoid.

- The amount of people who are extremely talented actors + not child-frighteningly ugly is a lot smaller than previously believed.

- You can spend $100 every 2 weeks and survive, saving the rest of your money. Within a year, you will have enough saved to get the hell out of Ashland. (I'm in the process of this one right now, but should have started much, much sooner)

- You really did love E...and she loved you, too. You both knew what you were getting into when it started, but you got scared and ran away. That will probably haunt you forever.

- Don't throw away mixtapes from your exes. They won't be depressing someday, and they'll actually often give you a nice, nostalgic happiness remembering the songs.

- Don't try to learn lines in the bathtub; you will drop the script in the water every single time, no matter what you tell yourself to the contrary beforehand.

One time, let the drunk guy who pisses the bed have the top bunk one time, then get back to me.

I know you are talking to yourself but I highly disagree with that statement.

Majority of the people that shine in High School and make it out to be bigger/better than it really is, when they continue the rest of their life it's pretty much the high point of their life and it's all downhill from there. That's why people that were popular in high school end up being drug addicts, fat, have six kids, working at mickey ds. They were under this false impression that they were more important that they actually are and when they hit the real world they fall flat on their asses. While the nerds, geeks and others that were bullied/picked on excel in their normal life after high school and are able to buy the apartment building that the Prom King is currently living in.
