Just read online that Bobby "Blue" Bland (1930-2013) died on Sunday too. I saw him perform with B.B. King back in '98. Sadness.

Not that anyone will know her, but Bernie Nolan, one of the Nolan Sisters who fuelled many a teenage boy's fantasies including mine, died of cancer. She will be sadly missed. RIP.

I knew very little about this guy...but he did grow up in Victoria, BC...about an hour from where I grew up. He was also a big Canucks fan. RIP.
