I can understand being pissed off at Hamas but to wish ill will on innocent men, women and children is just a bit much.

Gustavo Cerati (Soda Stereo) passed yesterday in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A musical genius; a majestic rock/pop composer, singer and guitarist. Let's hope he'll have a nice trip to Heaven.

No one's saying that Joan Rivers isn't a hag, but I make some allowances if you're actually Jewish. There's too much history there to just make simple, black-and-white judgements. My Jewish friend's older cousin from Israel has some rather hardline views on the Palestinians from what I hear. But he also fought in World War II (I think he might have actually been from Poland... so yeah), helped to buildup the Israeli army against the Arabs, and I'm sure lost more friends and family than he can count over the decades. So, however I feel about his views, I'm not going to judge him on them. I just don't have the right. I don't know Joan Rivers' history, but apparently she was born in 1933, so I'm sure she must have been deeply affected by what's happened to the Jews in the last century.
