And for the love of god, don't just agree with everything she says. If anything make a note to disagree. I don't think I know of a single woman who likes a guy who just agrees with everything. I like someone a little different than me.

That's a big mistake guys make, they're afraid to have conflicting views, when in reality they probably jist make you a little more attractive. Don't be dismissive or anything, but yeah, might be something that's more common knowledge now, but it just doesn't seem like many guys get that.

Be confident and don't be fake, that's really about the best basic advice you can get.

Are you ****ing kidding me right now? Yes, because I don't find a tacky comment trivialising what is a horrific, life altering experience for many people, I don't have a sense of humour. God, I should totally have a sense of humour about something that happens so often, it may one day happen to me, or one of my very close friends. Clearly, because I don't find a joke about what is taken so ****ing lightly that half of all of the incidents are reported, and even less convicted, I don't know a good joke! This isn't me saying "Oh, Spinal Tap is ****ing terrible", it is about rape. What exactly about that is funny? Ohh, the context, yes, HOW HILARIOUS!!! Gotta cancel out some oestrogen with some good old hilarious sexual assault

I'm on Paloma's side. You two are sub-human if you think rape is anything to joke about. That was completely tasteless. You make my stomach roll.

It might defeat the purpose also. I always say just tell her how you feel. Take the bullet if shes not interested. Girls are driven to men who are confident and sure of themselves. No sense in being afraid of the unknown.

Nothing amazing about that but damn I fell hard <3

Thanks for all this advice, I really do appreciate reading it.

Honestly, just because she compliments your drawing doesn't mean she wants your dick, so tread lightly. Otherwise, good luck
I appreciate this, it seems though that she's been a lot quieter since it happened, and she's always looking at me when I'm in the room. Obviously you weren't serious about that bit about "just because she compliments your drawing doesn't mean she wants your dick", which of course is true, but I'm not really a kind of person who looks at relationships that way of course.
Thanks for the advice too, it was also helpful and encouraging.

I personally don't want to get worked up on the internet, but that was really sickening for me to read - this is someone who I really care about and I'd rather never see her again than let anything like that happen.

What exactly was sickening to read about my post? I'm hoping this was a mis-quote as I don't see anything sickening about my post.

lol, I think you misquoted, Fred.

But yeah to me it sounds like she's interested, probably just waiting for you to make the next move.

That's true as well. I'd rather know if she's not interested in me than live under false pretenses and false hopes.

Naw, I meant to post a reply to that, I was referring to Duce's horrible rape post.

Yes, it's hard to get this multi quote thing sorted out when there are so many replies!

I want to hope that this is the case, because she's not usually quiet, but she seems to be just hanging around us all quite a bit looking a bit lost.

I would contend that the bit lost thing is because shes waiting for you to make a move already. Don't wait until she has another boyfriend.

I believe he was referring to the post about rape.

I just want to say, those of you making personal judgments of someone because of dark comedy should really ease off. Take it for what it is, and that's just a bit of humor. You shouldn't be expected to find it tasteful, because that's the nature of dark comedy. However, there's a difference between humor and hate. If he really condones rape, that's a different issue, but can we not make comedy revolving around death, tragedy, illness or traumatic experiences? I personally didn't find it funny, but not because of how serious the content is, but because it wasn't very witty.

That's all just my opinion, though.
