I just thought of some stuff that Kiwi's say all the time:

Churr bro - thanks brother
Yeah nah - yes but I'm not sure
Sweet as - awesome
Mint - awesome
Whatevs - whatever
Not even au - not even brother
Whaddap cuz - what's up cousin/friend
that's really awesome eh? - eh is what we say after nearly every sentence, the way English say yeah after sentences.
Gidday - hello
Kia ora - hello

hehe Kiwis are using slang from the 90s.

I still use "cuz" though but mostly for my cousin not friends anymore. I did in the 90s yeah.

Basically, New Zealand is about 1-2 decades behind the rest of the world when it comes to basically EVERYTHING. Fashion, music, architecture, trends, you name it!

A lot of our slang has come from the Maori and Pacific Islanders. We as a country have poor English skills.

Along with being decades behind isn't your media a tad bit pricey as well. Similar to Australia.

By media, I just mean like video games, music, books, dvds/blu-rays.

Oh crap yeah. The cheaper DVDs usually sell for $10 per DVD. They can go up to $30-$40 such a rip off! I only buy my favourite DVDS. I have 100's of movies on my external hard drive and 100's in my TV cabinet. Books are ridiculously expensive here. Best sellers go for $30-$40 for months and only really get down to $15-$25 when on sale. I don't know about bluerays but I believe they are also over priced.

Everything in New Zealand is overpriced it's such a pain. It's so expensive to live here.

A small price to pay to live in Middle-Earth.
