Certain people in life you make an instant connection with, others it takes time and effort but can often be very rewarding.
Like I said. Certain people make life great, but the vast majority of them I find to be boring and/or cretinous. And I imagine they see me as a either boring (if I'm being insular) or a weirdo (if I'm not). I realize that most people probably aren't compatible with a large percentage of the people they come into contact with either, but my personality is extreme enough that it causes more friction than seems to be normal.

If I won the lottery no-one would ever see me again. I mean, I'd be gone. I'd be living in some faraway land somewhere using my independent wealthiness to become a Batman-like figure, but awesomer.

I don't think Batman would say "awesomer".

I can relate completely. I've had this problem ever since I could remember, and became really anti-social about it. I don't think other people are bad either, just my own comfort level is very minimal around them. Have a lot more comfort being by myself.

Faraway-er land. Like Iceland, or the Samoas.

One's freezing cold with withdrawn people and the other rather hot where they still eat people. Can't you think of anywhere better?

That's why they need Batman! I would start a club in Iceland where people can party and become sociable human beings... or I would go to the Samoas and teach them how to fix actual food. Or just become King of the Cannibals, I haven't decided yet.

Being a cannibal Batman is a wonderful aspiration.
