I ordered a new computer off of QVC with a payment plan that will stretch out 5 months, but that's not the awesome part, I was given an estimated arrival date that says it would be here at the end of the month, well...I got my tracking number in my email this morning and I checked, and it is expected to arrive at my house in 3 days. Not to mention they're shipping through UPS which is pretty fantastic because I know the guy who drives our route, and to top it all off, they threw in free shipping.

Needless to say, i'm pretty excited. The computer is a Dell, 1TB hard drive, 8gb of RAM, and it only costs me 150 bucks a month for the next 5 months to pay off.

Yeah I've never heard of people having problems with Dell computers. My mom had a Dell Latitude laptop that was made in like 2002 or something (one of those old boxy things), and it finally died last year.

HP on the other hand...

He wasn't insinuating anything. He was making a reference.

HP can go **** themselves. I've never heard anything but issues upon getting an HP computer. I'm excited to get my new computer though, it's coming packed with some awesome stuff that I have been wanting. Plus, i'm giving my laptop to my girlfriend so we'll both have a computer now.

Does that make me old that someone who I'm pretty sure is younger than me didn't get a reference that was pretty much ubiquitous when I was younger?

Not too old apparently. I've never seen that ad before in my life.
