i think ive seen all his vids actually im subscribed to his channel James is pretty laid back in his gameplays but the AVGN is a totally different character

i see, i don't go that far back my first console was the Nes.

NES was actually my first personal console - like, in my own room where I didn't have to share it with the family.

I think Nes was the console that really popularized gaming consoles to the point everybody had one and they even made movies and Tv shows about it

Videogame channels is like 90% of what i watch on youtube though i never heard of console wars but they were cool ^^

Among the best gaming channels i know i recommend Lophatjello Aka the happy videogame nerd which is the counterpart to the AVGN and he is just as good

And the smartest gaming channel on youtube for me has to be Game theory their videos tend to cover all the aspects that seem to go over most gamers head

and that's all i'll say about videogame channels cause i can talk about them forever but i don't want to ruin this thread

I've never watched Game Theory but it's clearly awesome. That video alone has some serious intellectual value combining quantitative AND qualitative analysis of how shit works in the digital world. Love it.

And something that video touches on, that everybody should know about, is the Internet Archive where you can look up what's been online at any time ever.
