Which Playstation is your Favorite?
 

My favorite is the PS2 simply because you can still get all these amazing games on it. It's a decent price. Its generally a really good console.
What about you guys?

Yeah ps2 was probably the best one the first was pretty tight and the 3rd has blue ray but neither comes close to the catalogue of the ps2

don't have a PS3, but the games i've played has been uninspiring thus far

so PS2 for me as well

Dreamcast; crazy taxi, chu chu rocket, virtual on the oratorio tangram (VO:OT), jet grind radio, etc. Shenmue was horrible, however; "....I'm looking for the men who killed my father." Nothing like running around having to open every_****ing_drawer_in_a_dresser_individually_.

These other playstations are for women.

You managed to name 4 decent games. I can probably name 100-150 good PS2 games.

It's very hard for me to choose between PS1/PS2. On the one hand, PS1 has the distinction of being my first gaming console and has a special place in my heart. But in terms of overall game library, including variety of genres represented and number of good games, the PS2 probably edges it. I still think PS1 may be my own personal favorite, but PS2 is probably the objectively better console.

Obviously the best console is the latest one.

PS2 has the best games. I have some great PS1 memories and PS3 is good but I prefer Xbox.

haven't played enough PS3 games to compare, but the quality of releases on the PS2 was generally even

PS2 for me. I think it was further ahead of its competitors relative to the first PS and PS3. I much preferred N64 and, although I prefer PS3, Xbox 360 is pretty much equal, I'd say. PS2 stood out above the others IMO. Great selection of games.

PS2. With the death of my 3rd xbox 360 I went and traded all my 360 games for store credit and bought a lot of my old favourites. The PS2 had great 3rd party support with developers and an absolutely massive library. I briefly owned a PS3 and I quite enjoyed it, Infamous and Heavy Rain were fun exclusive titles, although I didn't like the R2 L2 redesign.
