7 posts per day doesn't take much.

Whats 12,892 divided by 7?

Let me get a calculator.

Thats 5 years!

It sounds interesting. Well done.

Honestly, I'm a little weary posting new threads, you guys all seem so knowledgeable about music and I'm scared you'll rip me to shreds. I just know what music I like. Anyways, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
That's pretty cool. And don't worry about your musical tastes, it's all subjective. If anyone rips into you for listening to something different they're really only projecting their own insecurities in regards to their tastes onto you.

Now the real question. Is Frank Zappa the most appropriate soundtrack for Dr. Seuss books or not?

Not that discussions can't get hectic, but having to defend your musical tastes will only broaden your mind in the end. Just make sure to be intelligent about it. (That last was to the n00b, not you mr dave.)

Absolutely agreed but you need to be able to keep a level head. Once anyone starts getting emotional in their defense of a particular group or style it's just going to cause headaches.

Yeah, but that's par for the course sometimes. As long as it doesn't devolve into purely childish name calling without any substance, then it's still all good in the end, even if a few feathers are ruffled.
