It certifies that I have obtained a commensurate level of skill in Composition, Performance, and Critical Study, of popular music.
Technically the title of my degree could also cover music production aspects too, but obviously there's a degree of choice in your unit selections, and I elected to focus on the other 3.

Oh ok, so it's similar to what I do with classical and jazz. I've taken courses in pop music history, analysis of pop music, etc, but there are not enough courses offered at my university to actually be able to focus on it.
