What Are You Most Passionate About?

Are there things that get your motor running? It could be debating politics, cats or your favourite music! It has to be an obsession.

Mine are the following:

* Debating womens rights and equality
* Debating the right for gay people to be gay with my mother
* The colour pink
* Lady Gaga
* Spine tingling trance

Blarobbarg 09-23-2012 06:25 AM

Human rights/social justice

Ending the slave trade/sex trafficking

Being peaceful and loving, and becoming a better person

Travel

Eating exotic foods, or anything that is out of the ordinary for my culture

Wow cool! I feel very intense about sex trafficking too, it's so demoralizing.

Perhaps you should rephrase that.

-The welfare and safety of my son
-Raising my level of consciousness
-Making others happy
-Enjoying life as much as I can
-Good music in all shapes and forms
-Excellent food
-Loving others
-Being the best human being that I can be

Plankton 09-24-2012 10:20 AM

- Parenting
- Being a source of positivite human evolution
- Music
- Sports (playing more than watching)

I put parenting first, for obvious reasons, but mostly I had to overcome quite a few obstacles in order to raise my daughter to be a compassionate, loving person. Her mother was/is a lunatic (multiple personalities, borderline personality, etc.) so I guess you could say she was the catalyst for that. Making something good out something bad could be listed as well.

It's pretty much one of the biggest problems in our world today, and most people don't even realize it's going on (or they think "prostitutes all want to be in their line of work" because apparently no-one could ever be coerced or forced into it). I think I've spoken or written on it in every single one of my classes I've had so far in college... and talked about it to anyone who would listen. At the moment my main goal concerning trafficking is giving to organizations that help free/rehabilitate people, and tell as many as possible that it exists.

But yeah, I'm really glad you care. It makes me so, so pissed off that it is even an issue that needs to be dealt with, but all we can do is our best and hope that it will turn out alright in the end.

Who are you to dictate who has the right to be gay with her mother?

That's what I thought she meant. I only realized she meant she was arguing with her mother after reading the sarcastic comments. :o:

I mainly say it because they are the easiest people I've ever met to wind up and also because they talk such a big game when it comes to heavy metal music and how knowledgeable they are. Normally this wouldn't bother me. I don't judge and I also don't consider myself any more knowledgeable than they are. It doesn't even matter if I am. They just irritate me whenever I hear them talk about music as most of what they say is bullshit and their metalhead image is clearly the most important thing to them.

So thats why I do it and it's fun. That and I just don't like Pantera which, to them, is not accecptable.

Well, I'm pretty passionate about making wiseass remarks when other people are being earnest. Of course, I'm also a pretty big douchebag.

So you have two beards? How often do you switch out the regular beard with the ultra-sexy one?
