The universe might not be sentient (honestly I don't know your position on that) but how do you know that the universe doesn't already have computational capabilities? How don't you know that we are already living in an Epoch 6 universe and the technological that will be integrating into the universe beyond Earth would be a viral form that will dismantle the universe?
