John French is the drummer for Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band. He put Beefheart's ideas on paper and expounded on them in some instances. I don't even remember where I got mine from, but I've been using it for years, so it's usually my first pick for a web-alias. My real name is Michael and I usually wrote my name as Mic on video game high-score lists. That's where the Mic part comes from. The Shazam part though? No friggin' clue!

I did the same thing but with Aquaman.

lol really? What were his powers? My version of Iron Man could coat himself in a layer of metal at will and shoot blobs of liquid metal out of his hands.

Mine was very simple, I just thought of a guy who could breathe underwater and maybe use water projectiles but I didn't think to make him talk to fish too. In my first draft I called him aguaman cause agua means water in Spanish but I quickly changed it to Aquaman cause it just made more sense.
