Canadian bacon is completely different from ham! And it's not actually bacon, lol. I don't eat that stuff anyways... not eating pork was one of the few Jewish traditions practised in my house growing up and now I just don't have a taste for any of it.

BD, bacon is the food of gods! Do you practise in your religion? My art teacher was Jewish (wait for it) Mrs Bernstein and now you're all wondering how I knew right? Haha, anyway I went to China with my school and we had buffet style meals at each table and she came up and stole some pork off my table and I almost died cos she was eating pork, so she picked up another bit and popped it in her mouth and smiled at me. I was like " you can't do that!!!"

Nope. There's a whole cultural/ethnic element to Judaism that ties into the religion, but I don't give a crap about the religious stuff. I'm an atheist. It's not that I can't eat pork, of course I can, but I don't really want to. My mother never bought pork or served it and now I just don't care about it, lol.

I'm glad I don't have an overly Jewish last name, like the ones that end in "stein", "berg", or "thal", lol. Most of my father's family is not Jewish.

Sidenote: what is it with people making HUGE images these days? Any time I look for a picture it can be anything up to 3000 x whatever! Three ****ing thousand pixels! Who the hell needs a pic with that sort of res, and don't they realise how MASSIVE it's going to look on any screen??

Side sidenote: I love the way a thread about feeling suicidal has morphed into one about pancakes and pop tarts! That's really making lemonade from lemons. Yay people! Fight that depression!

Are they freaking serious?? No hotlinking and they put a ****ing LEPRECHAUN there to tell me??? Do they know I'm Irish? I'm scared! (It was a box of pop tarts, for those who have to know...)
