Trying new things together definitely helps and it makes things exciting. I think there are always things you can learn about each other by trying new stuff, whether it be food or doing some new adventurous thing, stuff like that. Spending copious amounts of time alone helps too. Sounds counterproductive, I know, but it's not good to be around each other 24/7.

Yeah, I guess it's just trying to keep the relationship exciting and doing new things together, continuing to appreciate each other rather than simmering off into apathy, all that stuff you said :) I've been with my partner for most of 7 years () and lived together for a long time so sometimes that "newness" kinda wears off! Not that it's a bad thing... it's just different, I guess!

My boyfriend comes home from his holiday at 1am.

but seriously, I didn't think I'd miss him much at all but I really missed speaking to him everyday.

edit: Astronomer, I'm in a new relationship and I'm quite looking forward to things being comfortable, like talking about sex when you're not about to have sex for instance.

I never quite thought of it like that, but that makes total sense.

Nice guys honestly don't always finish last. :)

Technically if they are that nice they should be finishing last, always bringing their partner to orgasm before themselves...therefore finishing last...u mad?

Wise words, wise words.

But seriously, there's nothing more attractive than a guy simply being a gentleman.

What about a beautifully cocked, phat walleted, meaty brained, sack destroyer who just so happens to be rude and let the door slam in your face.

He has to be more than just a gentleman or else he will get walked over all the time.

Just like how women say "chivalry is dead" well guess who killed it?

Ever consider that it's because the slut is less concerned about what you think of her, so she's not stroking your ego by trying to impress you? ;)

I'm quite an angry person sometimes, I'd probably ask the sack of **** who the **** he thought he was. And dream of repeatedly slamming the door on his head.

Um no, not necessarily. My boyfriend is quite the gentleman but it doesn't mean I walk over him because he's nice to me, I'm equally nice and 'courteous' shall we say. Also just because a guy's a gentleman doesn't mean he's gonna take ****. There's a massive difference.
