No contribution to the discussion, you guys just reminded me of that.

That said, I do think men have fewer opportunities to use sex to get ahead. But why should it matter, am I the only one who thinks dangling a sex carrot in front of someone to manipulate them is more than a little tawdry, regardless of gender? Who cares who gets to do it more? I'd rather it happened as little as possible, period.

Well I mean I was just trying to find a rational reason that would explain 216's statements. It's not as simple as "women are taught to utilize sex at a young age" and that's it. There's got to be a reason why that would occur/be useful.

I don't necessarily think 216 is right in this. Or atleast his argument seems pretty shallow (unless I've missed something; I didn't read through the whole thread).

I feel like his argument is pretty accurate it's just that it doesn't apply to ALL women.

All women do have the ability to use their sexuality to get away with so much shit from guys but that doesn't mean they do use that. It's only some that really use it more than others and love the fact that they can do it and get away with it.

It just seems misleading to say that without giving any reasoning as to why they could get away with it in the first place. If they're being taught to do so, then it's men that are doing the teaching. It's cyclical.

It isn't men that are doing the teaching. It's men that are being weak and letting them get away with doing what they are doing instead of treating them like a human being instead of a sex object.
