Incidentally, two things: one, I don't get your "sob story". So you have a game you're working on that you can't get perfected. Ok. Why is that a sob story? I have had a lot of things I've been working on that didn't come to fruition but I wouldn't post a thread about them looking for sympathy. I mean, sure it's bad and I'm sympathetic but you know, that's life? Why is this worthy of its own thread and why could you not just put it in the Bitch Box as you said?

TBH when I read your introduction I was expecting some deep, personal story that would tug at the heartstrings, but really, without meaning to be nasty, get over yourself ffs. Life ain't easy and you have to work at things. Should we all be sorry that your project isn't working out? Lordy. Grow up willya?

Oh, and two, you don't need lots of posts to open a journal; just go to the section, make your thread and once it's approved you'll be on your way. Get in quickly enough and you may be included in tonight's Journal Update Thread....

When I made the title "My sob story", Trollheart, I was kind of being sarcastic. It's true that I was kind of sad about this but it's hard to convey anything over the internet. I'm more of a realist than a person looking for sympathy, a person who tells things like they are or how they are feeling but doesn't necessarily expect sympathy.

I have been working hard making a video game, I am a hobbyist video game developer. I have spent countless hours on my video game and hundreds of dollars. I will probably get some insults or insuations thrown my way between now and actually achieving a dream of greatness through music, mostly because people don't know me very well yet. People have assumed that I'm young and insecure. And that was just batlord. I'm not uptight though so it just gives me a good laugh, it doesn't offend me.

Anyway in other news, I tend to view this forum from afar since I joined more so than participating and it feels like I'm getting to know some cool people here. It might be part of the reason why I'm opening up now. Anyway, that's all I have to say.

A misread quote where someone asked the OP was he Batlord, and then everyone jumped up saying they were. He'll be here soon enough with Gram to sort them all out I have no doubt...

Well let's see. I was feeling pretty funky about losing some money on software development and made a post about it. Then I talked about some completely unrelated things out of the blue which don't really matter at all. People assumed I was a drama whorer about the software development which is not a light I want to see myself in, even if I am. So I now have an image to shed. And apparently in the process a meme got made about "I am batlord". Oh and first world problems got mentioned and I posted a picture of it. So basically, your typical The Lounge thread. And I'm just going with the flow and enjoying it now, I feel a little better after ranting about the software development.
