PoorOldPo 05-21-2013 07:40 AM

I find it hard to remember my favourite smells because I only realise how much I like that smell when I am there and smelling it. But I have always loved the smell of trees, and lemons.

You must really love lemon trees then.

Plankton 05-21-2013 08:29 AM

Love the smell of fresh cut grass, and gasoline (preferably high octane in a Pro Street Rod).

Bacon.

I freakin hate the smell of patchouli.

This. I felt like I only like the smell of about 9 things when I came in here haha.

PoorOldPo 05-21-2013 09:29 AM

Actually I just thought of another one, I will update everytime I find a smell that I like by being reminded of it when smelling it.

Here is one(this might freak some people out)

When I eat a lot of garlic in a meal(i like garlic.....and spinach), the day after I can smell it coming out of my pores on my hands, that is pretty ****ed up, but I like the smell. Of course I usually have a shower when that happens, but it is still a good smell.

Speaking of showers, that is another smell I have been reminded of! Eucalyptos shampoo, or any good organic shampoo, produces some of the best smells I have ever smelled. Well of the ones I can remember off hand.

You are what you eat.

Orange blossoms.

Bacause of memories, perhaps. I spent quite a while in the "Orange-Blossom Coast".

The smell of fresh jalapenos and ginger just tossed into a wok.

Frownland 05-21-2013 09:46 PM

Well, I love the smells of marijuana, coffee, lilac, lavender, and clean ****, because who likes nasty **** smell? I also like the smell of mothballs because it reminds me of my great grandmother who was one of the better people I've ever met and who died when I was 9 :(.

I don't smoke marijuana but I like the way it smells. It's wayyyyyy more tolerable than the stink of cigarettes.

I've always loved the way it smells. I just thought that my dad's friends were all fantastic chefs since their apartments smelled quite delicious and my parents didn't cook often at the time, but after I began smoking I realized that they were just stoners .

Cuthbert 05-24-2013 02:36 AM

Weed smells better than cigarettes from a burning joint or in a room filled with smoke but smells worse on someone who's smoked it. I find that when someone has just smoked weed, they reek of it and its not very nice.

Ya I know what you mean. I usually make sure I had some form of deoderant around when I smell that way, I am always paranoid walking around in public smelling like that.

djchameleon 05-24-2013 04:09 AM

I love the smell of sauteed onions or garlic!

PoorOldPo 05-24-2013 05:43 AM

I love the smell I get when I am standing in the middle of a field surrounded by trees and covered in blooming flowers.

Get some oranges boo, when I used to smoke weed I used to always carry clementine oranges in my bag with me. Not only does it take away the smell, you have something delicious to eat when you have the munchies.

Great idea! Something more natural than that deoderant ****e is always a better alternative.

That's genius!

I also love the smell of coconut, anything with coconut in it and I will buzz it for around 5 mins.

Lmaooo I only came up with it because my mom busted me buying coke once and I didn't wanna get in trouble so I just told her I was buying weed because we'd also smoked weed and I made her smell my fingers to believe me so whenever I came home she'd smell my fingers. Clementine oranges just make my fingers smell like oranges so she'd never catch me again

Cuthbert 05-24-2013 09:37 AM

Yeah tis a good idea to be fair. Whenever someone has eaten an orange in this house I can smell it from other rooms.

It's not a bad smell either.

Plankton 05-24-2013 09:49 AM

There's gonna be a spike in the Orange market this week.

I love the smell of coconut too. It's weird because I can't stand the taste.

I used to like the smell of coconut until 7th grade when I had some coconut type oil cologne that I used everyday and people hated it so much because it was super strong.
I don't mind the taste as a long as it's not coconut water. I hate the taste of the water.

Burning Down 05-24-2013 10:35 AM

Coconut is just gross all around! Taste, smell... All of it. I can't stand it! It makes me nauseous, in fact.

Not bashing on purpose. I just don't like them. Don't like carrots either - my mom says that I wouldn't even eat the mashed baby food ones. Same with cauliflowers.

I used to work in a hardware store and I was surrounded by all kinds of different smells. I love the smell of paint and mixing paint was one of my favourite tasks. Methylated spirits was another favourite of mine and I sometimes used to take the cap of a bottle and sniff some in the back store.

I love the smell of petrol as well and it makes filling up my car all the more enjoyable.

The smell of some people that used to come in wasn't as nice! Plenty of farmers smelling of cow dung, builders smelling of sweat and people who smelled like they spent the morning cleaning a sewerage tank.
