Mmmm... the perfumes of labor.

No wonder you have bad eyes and wear specs. :p:

IcyHot (yeah, the stuff for muscle pain; we used it all the time in sports, mainly softball. Practicing or playing games 6 days a week'll cause some arm, shoulder, and, in my case as a catcher, knee discomfort)

Old books. If there was an afterlife with only one smell, I'd pick this one.

Grilled cheese sandwiches. I don't know why, but this smell makes me absolutely gleeful, even if I'm not the one eating the grilled cheese.

Greasy amusement park smells from servicing rides. I get to experience those tomorrow/today. So stoked. Even if I am the one paying for four tickets.

Cigar smoke. I seldom if ever smoke cigars, but I love the way they smell.

That weird smell of ozone just before a a severe thunderstorm. Oh, I love it. I'll stay outside until the storm itself is too close for comfort just to experience that one.

Spring mornings where I live. A combination of dewed, freshly cut grass, honeysuckle, and whatever else. It's amazing. I actually love going to work at 8am for that one.

My eyes aren't THAT bad, lol! They're actually getting better. Couple more years and I'll be out of glasses till I'm old.

What's too bad? That my eyesight's improving? It was never that bad to begin with, really. Astigmatism and strabismus (which doesn't affect vision really if treated properly.)

CrazyVegn 05-25-2013 11:48 PM

Oh, I'm skimming (not reading) - sorry - that's good news, and for myself I meant 20/15 without any correction.
For whatever reason, though, my night vision SUCKS but hopefully that will improve now that I incorporated more variety into my diet.

New leather, marijuana & hashish (before they are smoked & while they are being smoked), tobacco before it is smoked, a good quality cigar & good quality pipe tobacco (before they are smoked & while they are being smoked), the interior of a hardware store (especially a smaller, independently owned store rather than one of the big chain stores), the interior of a gardening supply store (especially if they have a greenhouse loaded with plants), meat being fried or grilled or smoked, waking up to the smell of bacon frying in the morning, the ocean, a campfire, new cars in a showroom, the interior of a bicycle shop (probably because of the new tires on the new bikes), the scent of a woman, just about any type of fruit or berry, the various smells at a dragway (tires, fuel, fried food), the smell of a new guitar and/or a new guitar case, the smell of a new piece of electronic equipment, the smell of new shoes or boots, comic books (new or old), new vinyl, fabric softener sheets, freshly cut cedar or pine, the backroom of a donut shop when donuts are being made, fresh mint, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon.

So many more I don't have time for at the moment.
