It's a clear plastic gauge though. It has a cover so the drool isn't falling out.

What I don't understand is how can they drink anything without it spill out of the hole. Unless they put a straw thru the hole and sip it? Just imagine that guy getting up early forgetting he has an open portal below his bottom lip and drinks coffee, only to have scalding hot coffee pour all over his pants burning privates. I wonder if they French kiss through that? I hope the guy doesn't rub snuff that would be sick to see. I tell you what know what would be cool if they can open beer bottle with it, down the suds thru the hole and spit out the bottle cap when their done.

They are real, I used to be part of body modifications forum and they were quite popular amoungst members. It's just a regular lip piercing being stretched like an ear lobe.

The lip stretching is still done in some African and South American tribes. Lip plates.

I can't imagine how that makes food taste or how they smell. Stretched anything has to be cleaned like constantly, I used to have my ears stretched and that was enough for me

Don't like 'em but it ain't on my chin so to each their own.

I did once tie a kg weight to my willy to stretch it out. Didn't work, and made me walk funny. Bit like an orangutan.
