I'll make it simple for you boys...

Forget the "still" part altogether... A compliment (ie: "hot") with an attatched insult (ie: "kinda"), has the same effect as some do-gooder, kumbaya piece of legislation, that has a bunch of "**** you, constituency" riders hitchhiking on it... Defeats the purpose, eh??

What about "more hot than not"? Is that acceptable?

Only because it rhymes.

You get an "A" for effort, Chula; however, having never actually seen me, you don't have grounds to give that compliment genuinely.

I'm a dude. If you are in fact a chick, I have the grounds. We can talk about Hot metrics later.

The "hot" part is clearly undercut by the "kinda"... The "still" part, which references age obviously, could either be a compliment or an insult, depending (ie: "still hot" would have been a compliment, like "hey, she's older, but she's still hot!" However, when paired with "kinda," the "still" takes on a more insulting flavor).
I can get that. I think of "kinda" as the perfect balance though, it shows that you do indeed want to see what's between her legs, and yet you don't want to give her so much confidence that she thinks you're more into her than she is into you.

You're overcomplicating things. If you only want to sleep with her, compliment her. If you want to be in a relationship with her, just be straight up with her. It's that simple.
