Yeah, and besides, if one is going to flush thousands and thousands dollars down the drain at such a young age (an age at which the brain is not even fully developed yet), might as well travel or something instead. Then college after, maybe.

I hear lots of people are moving to Thailand nowadays for that same purpose but I'm sure it's swarming with tourists 24/7. Maybe the Philippines? Personally, I want to go to Costa Rica; there are tourists but there is ALSO a sloth sanctuary.

I'd prefer a smaller, out of the way island with not much going on cause it's a ****ing island, so how much progress is actually possible? Some place with "island time". Some place where I can start an expat beach bar and get away with being a lazy **** who hates the Protestant work ethic.
