:bowdown:My first job in the mid 60's as a 15 year working near Carnaby Street,London's West End.. and seeing some Men dress as more panto than macho was a learning curve and never knew how to look at these people initially, they sure made a statement of some kind..Obviously with the new laws coming into force a short time down the line a lot of changes took place and most people no longer had to show their sexuality off so much and the whole issue of ones sexuality calmed down..Of course most of you will not have lived through the roaring 60's so maybe you just cant tune into my way of thinking so much.:wavey:

Too many letters any way you slice it. Chappelle has a point about that goofy ass acronym hogging half the English alphabet.
|
Did he really waste time on a special with that boring **** that's probably only funny to *******s?

Most annoying holiday songs ..this one in Spain you could not get away from...
do you know a 'worser one :wavey: |
Not too much time... Called them the alphabet people... I thought it was funny.
You don't think the ever growing acronym looks stupid? I'm part of the "community" and it makes me cringe tbh. Just add a + to lgbt if you wanna be inclusuve... You can't just keep adding letters for every nuanced sexual proclivity or distinction... thats silly to me |
I mean it's a bunch of letters. It's not the actual movement and the amount of letters representing inclusivity does not discredit any of that inclusivity unless you're a dumby who can't separate the literal letters from the concept they represent.
A cumbersome string of letters isn't really a solid basis for a joke unless the people behind those letters is what you're actually mocking. |
