Man I wish I could help.

I know the feels. Sometimes I lose my ID and I don't even know who I am anymore.

And then Mondo looks down, and sees his hands start to disappear.

I think about that sometimes and wonder if you end up losing some vestige of civilized society that tells you being homeless means it's basically over and you're no longer a relevant human being. And if so is it horrible or liberating or just anti-climactic?

I've been fortunate for never having to face being homeless but it almost did happen when I didn't have a place to go when I lived in Monterey. My parents ended up being cool with me bringing my ex back here but we all know that story. I don't know what I'd do but I feel like I'd be ok. I'd hate being out at night tho. And not knowing where you're gonna sleep must also suck too.

I was homeless a few times in my life, but I always knew where my parents were. The problem was that they wouldn't allow me in their house. I'd imagine not having that foundation to psychologically ground you can make for a fairly bleak outlook.
