Went to the emergency room. Like I said, it was years ago. Spent a couple of hours there getting IVs and all kinds of blood work and tests and then my PCP put me on some meds and a strict diet for a while - nothing acidic, just very bland stuff. No dairy. Nothing that required lots of chewing before going down, etc.
