Once the brown sugar and maple flavor is done the dry, dusty oatmeal is certainly not a draw. That's why you pace the brown sugar and maple flavor. You certainly would never try to down a packet of apple and cinnamon.

Oh and because it didn't occur to me earlier I'd just like to point out that me eating dry oatmeal packets wasn't some desperate survival tactic I picked up while starving to death. This isn't something I've done in years and I used to do it back when me and the mom had a habit of eating lots and lots of instant oatmeal cause we liked it and I'd just be like, man, that's a lot of instant oatmeal to make a big deal out of so I'm just gonna down it and ****, and eventually mother caught on that I was just upending packets of oatmeal and got kinda pissed that I was wasting them like a ****ing weirdo when we had perfectly good plumbing to provide oatmeal water.
