Dude the entire downtown area and walkways on the beach were packed to the gills. No social distancing. No masks.

Inside the kitchen though - and I’m not saying it’s safe but it was constant disinfecting - hand washing - masks never removed - skeleton crew spread out - rarely was anyone within six feet because how they’ve organized it. It’s reservation only with new expensive menu items. And all the cheap **** is off the menu.

I still think it’s grotesque and selfish to be open. I still think I’m risking my life to serve rich yuppies. I still think it’s morally wrong to even be there and shame on me. But if you had to work in a kitchen at least I’m in a professional environment. And I know I’m a hypocritical piece of ****. But no corner is being cut in terms of hygiene.

And yes they are dining in but at 25% capacity. A party with a large reservation threw a fit because they couldn’t sit together and the front of the house manager straight sent their asses home.

That's insane. People really like their fish I guess. Or what? Just don't know how to make it themselves? Or they just feel entitled to be fed by the lessors?

None of our restaurants are letting people dine in, it's all curbside pickup and delivery. Most everything is still open, and making good money on quarantine specials - limited menus, easy to package and transport. I can get my mexican food delivered in 30mins with a pitcher of margarita lmao. Now that I know I can get my weed, booze, and groceries all delivered to my door in the same day as well I'm never looking back. Why go places when you could just stay.

These are people that make me a fascist. They can’t won’t compromise a ****ing thing - even though we have some of the most infected nursing homes right down the street

It’s disgusting

Yeah, but that's why I use the apps. They can choose to accept or not, and I tip extremely well. They drop it off and text me when they're done, I don't even have to open the door. I hear you, but if people are going to be out trying to make money anyway I'm down to pay them
