Three mini venison pies & ‘Columbian Gold’ coffee for breakfast. Preceded, as always, by a glass of mineral water & my medication.

I finished off the last of an apple pie my wife bought for me. There's a place on a highway here called The Big Apple. The building is this huge apple on the side of the road. Their pies are to die for. As soon as I walk in the place, the cinnamon smell hits me. I, of course, proceed to walk out with a number of pies, and a growler of cider.

Breakfast of Greek yoghurt with home preserved peach. Wholemeal pancakes ( we call them piklets in Oz) with unsalted butter and maple syrup. Columbian Toffee coffee with rice milk.

Why, I keep wondering, would anyone be interested in what I eat ?

The last thing I ate today was a unicorn cookie I made with my daughter. It's basically a chocolate cookie shaped like a unicorn. M&Ms are dotted all over it.

It's one of those threads that only make sense with photos (whether they're of something nice or of American food gore).

Today I had Brebis cheese (10/10 though it's not particularly photogenic) and cherries (also 10/10).
