Hooray for Pie!

I had this over the weekend. Homemade apple pie from a friend who went up to Michigan and picked a bunch of apples. He also mentioned that he used some reduced apple cider in the filling, and it's glorious.

Over the weekend, my lady friend threw a pork roast along with a slab of ribs in a crock pot. She's vegan, so it was for her nephew and me. After about 7 hrs on low, she removed both hunks of meat and divided them into two, so I took my portions of rib and pork roast and shredded it with forks in a bowl and added the juice from the crock pot. I'm just getting to it now, and served on a potato bun with pickles, this has to be one of the best pulled pork sangwidges I've had in a while.
