Tho, I'm with the camp that says keep your hair for
as long as you can, the problem with longer hair is
that the weight of it will actually emphasize your
balding areas. In the end, there'll come a time when
you don't want to mess with it and you'll cut it off.

That's the problem, my hair is really thin and I cannot style it at all. It simply has to be dry and combed. Any moisture or movement in the wrong direction leaves me looking as though I have even less hair than I do.

I'm not at a dangerous stage yet, that's probably a few years away, but being bald would make my life so much easier due to the pain in the ass that has always been my hair (even before it started thinning).

Sounds like you should just get rid. If you can't style it and you're at that stage already then yeah.

Better than walking round with a patchy head.

I don't need to change my style or anything, and I only look thin under certain light. But I've certainly noticed it getting a little thinner.

I guess the reason I ask is because I kinda want to do it. But due to the crappy nature of my hair, if I didn't like it, I would essentially be looking bald for about three or four months till it gets back to where I am now (always been the case for me).

Depends how much you care about your hair tbh. Was never much of an issue for me cos I've always had a fade/very short on top plus use clippers anyway.

Not having to do anything to your hair ftw >>>
