I dont know where to put this

I am a musician and i was writing an album that i needed a cello for... i dont know anyone who plays the cello so i thought what if there was a place that i could go to and ask the world and i could pick the best track i liked for my project and essentially build an entire project online with anyone accross the whole globe...

this is not a sales thing right here... because its not quite done yet

my question is does anyone else here who writes music see value in a project of htis nature

would anyone else use this or am i wasting my time;..
i needed something like this and there are 7 billion people in the world i thought maybe more people would too

but im actually asking

What you would be better doing, if I understand your need, and what would get better/more response, would be if you changed the title of the thread to "post your best cello music". Then you could select from those.

Also, the classical subforum and musicians' corner might be a good place to look.

You can't change the thread title but if you ask a mod (Janszoon, Urban, Goofle etc) I'm sure they'll oblige you.

im wondering if anyone sees value ina crowdsourcing project where you can create music actualy anything digital online

Are you a keyboard or a guitar player? Why not use midi? I am sure there is something like a Greg's List for musicians where you can ask for cello player in your local area to join your band/recording project.
