I think the suggestions are good. Definitely keep the old list though.

Trollheart it was Loathsome Pete that helped me tally, not Exo.

It might be kind of laborious and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would have a hard time with a couple genres but...

A 'Best Posts in [GENRE]' award might be cool. Like, each genre of the music forum has to have a member or two who stand out for their contributions. Why not award them? 'Best Posts in Hip-Hop/Rap', 'Best Posts in Rock/Metal', etc. Similar idea for the Media section- 'Best Taste in Books', 'Best Taste in Movies', 'Best Taste in Television'... something like that.

"Funniest Member"
"Best Debate Thread"
"Best Comebacks"
"Biggest Flirt"

I have decided to go ahead and use the old list and just add some extra categories that I think would work well.

I think WD meant best poster in each subforum. At least, that's the way I interpreted it. If that's the case, very good idea.

If that's the case, than I agree wholeheartedly. I'll do my best to include every category that has been mentioned but we'll see.

I think as it's been such a bumper year for this category this year I'd like to suggest instead of awarding just one award we should award Gold, Silver and Bronze for the Howard the Duck Memorial Award for Most Inane Member.
