I think Jansz is well over that teenage/twenty-something period where most people say that. He's just been listening to so many different kinds of music for so long that he's probably just expanded his taste to the point where he might actually listen to just about everything. He's like 73 after all.

I concur.^ I am at the point where favorite artist,fav song,fav band,and the word fav are for 15 year old school girls.

I can be sort of a music snob in certain contexts. Not toward people who just aren't that into music, but toward fellow music geeks who seem deliberately very narrow-minded. For example, hip hop or metal fans who obsess about artists adhering to the genre playbook and scoff at artists who push the envelope.

That exactly is the better question. Because even if you listenes to pretty much every genre, you'll still probably prefer some over others, or at least listen to some more than others.
