Fashion choices you dislike

Aight, anyone who's concious about what clothing they and others wear, will have some styles or items they don't like. For instance, i don't like:
  • White Nike sneakers*
  • Tall, chunky sneakers
  • Sneakers that kind of look like trainers
  • Nike Air shoes
  • Straightened hair

RoxyRollah 03-05-2015 08:24 AM

straight hair bothers you? I wish you would wake up looking like side show bob every morning then say that.:afro::pimp: #donttouchmyhuuuur.

Meh, I just don't like the look of straightened hair, especially when it's obvious. I generally prefer wavy or curly hair, and think that people who naturally have those hairtypes should just rock the natural look. But hey, who am I to judge? I'm just some kid, and for all I know, people might be straightening their hair for practical reasons.

Seeing the way some women dress when out at bars and clubs makes me sad. It could be 30 below and these ladies still insist on going out in nothing but a tiny tight dress, 7 inch heels, and no coat. Are you really that desperate for attention that you'd risk hypothermia?

If anyone says the sweatshirt and shorts combo, I'm coming after you. that outfit is traditional Seattle wardrobe. Plus its comfortable.

Frownland 03-05-2015 09:12 AM

My boss wears long sleeve dress shirts with cargo or jean shorts.

RoxyRollah 03-05-2015 09:13 AM

I think given certain situations, it can look really nice. I can usually get away with a black polo and cargo shorts in the summer.

Plankton 03-05-2015 09:21 AM

Go ahead and say Jorts, I'll wear em anyway.

Sweater or long sleeved tee I'll give a pass to, but button up dress clothes is where I draw the line.

swadders 03-05-2015 09:31 AM

Fat blokes wearing track suits they've no intention of doing any excercise in!

Cuthbert 03-05-2015 09:52 AM

Agree with most of that Briks. Nike Air Max are not only expensive and generally look sh*t but they don't last long either. Also would include the Air Jordans worn with jeans halfway down your arse type of look.

See this on nights out a fair bit, and Frownland has kinda touched upon it: people mixing smart with casual. Smart shoes, like the sort you'd wear with a suit, jeans (usually boot cut) and t shirt. Looks ridiculous.

Nike Huaraches. Someone in the design team at the Nike HQ must have had a bet with a colleague about how many people they can get to buy these. They are horrific imo.

Short back and sides Bieber type quiff haircuts that every man and his dog has now.

Beards. Not stubble type, but those big bushy ones people have been growing over the past couple of years.

Skinny jeans. They can look good on some but they are funny as f*ck on the wrong people.

New Era caps & 'snapbacks' with the stickers still on them :D

Stone Island.

It's a particular type of beard though. Usually worn with the Bieber haircut or a fade.

Stubble or a shorter length is cool but I mean closer to Santa Claus length.

^ah. I have long curly hair and a beard. No I'm not a stoner.

Crocs and Those pants that sag in the front that Justin Bieber always wears. He should be buried in those while still breathing.

I once bought a pair on accident. Made me look like John Holmes long lost brother. Not even sorta kinda.

Frownland 03-05-2015 10:25 AM

I wear skinny jeans sometimes, but that's just because they were regular jeans back when I was fifteen

James 03-05-2015 10:29 AM

Baggy jeans look so gross.

Cuthbert 03-05-2015 10:30 AM

Wasn't a big fan of the Roman gladiator sandals that were popular a few summers ago.

People who wear a scarf all the time.
It's okay if it's really cold, but there is somewhat douchey if one has some cloth around the neck all the time.

I prefer the "too cool for school" look when I'm trying to bait guys at bars. It usually starts to work around 2-3 am.

Ninetales 03-05-2015 11:35 AM

mother of god.. so gross.

That one looks more like a short sleeved Rugby shirt imo. Looser fit, different collars.
