@Plank Best of luck. Hopefully it's just an internet diagnostic failure--last time I checked, I had OCD, schizophrenia, and blood clots.

@Vanilla I'm sorry. I really am. There's nothing else I can say; it's nothing I have any experience with or know anything about. Everyone here loves you.

I have two lesions on my leg that look like beginning stages of cancer. I haven't told anybody about it. They've been there for a couple months, and they're getting worse. I've tried peroxide on them and they bubble up a bit, but it doesn't seem to help. My Dad went through chemo for two kinds of cancer (skin and colon) and is still kicking, but that's what frightens me. I watched as my ex-GF went through chemo treatments, and it's absolutely draining. Emotionally, physically, and psychologically. Is it cancer? Is it just some strange rash? I need to sign up for insurance, and make an appointment, and I'm legitimately fearing for my life everyday, and I try not to think about it. It makes me angry, sad, scared, weak, and confused. I want to be at peace again.
I am so sorry to hear that. I really don't know what to say.

When ever I hear some one has to go through that, it scares me - just the thought of it. I can't imagine what the person goes through. I don't think it makes a different if that it happens to someone I know online. I still have that terrible sad feeling just to hear you say it. I'll hope everything will be alright with you.

You're such a sweetheart for this, I love having the thought that people here are fond of me and make me feel a little more like I can achieve anything no matter what's wrong with me.

Been sore today though. I managed to clean up my pantry and pack some things.

Thanks for all the concern from everyone. I've started the process, and I'll keep you updated. Right now, I'm waiting for the dermatologists office to open so I can make an appointment. It's 8:30am. You know how doctors are.

For a moment I had a Batlord moment and thought you said "clean up my panties"!

But to be serious: wow! I had no idea you were in such pain and had such health issues. My heart really goes out to you. I know what painkiller addiction is like, not from personal experience: I'm as healthy as the next guy

Oh, all right, the guy after that then!

But Karen had a problem with pk, not that she was necessarily addicted to them, but her MS made her forget she had taken them, and with pain still afflicting her she would take more. Her doctor told us that what happens then is you get locked into a pain cycle: the painkiller in your bloodstream has not worked yet, and if you take another before the four-hour gap limit, it actually induces pain, so you take another to get rid of the new pain, it does the same thing, and round and round you go. I know tablets containing codeine are strictly regulated here: you can't buy more than one box specifically because of the addiction thing.

I unfortunately don't know how to advise you on controlling pain, but I'm sure you know my heart goes out to you and I'm here to talk if you need it. Perhaps this will help...
