i know, but you said it in such a way that you were saying we were all too lazy to get out there when many of us are already enjoying it.... i just think that it was said in a really condescending tone, thats all......

The outdoors is good. Hiking is good. Camping is good. Physical activity is good. Whether you share in it with others is personal preferance. Good post Zealious! Thanks for the reminder. Don't forget to watch the stars while you are out at night.

If you have the time, I would suggest you try a physical activity with your friends. Arrange a game, you'll enjoy it. I know I have.

if this isn't condacending bullshit i don't know what the fuck is...
i've run in to posts like this on other forums and when i saw this one my blood pressure sky rocketed...every now and then someone gets the bright idea to tell other people using the interent that they should do it less and go outside more, impliying we're all glued to the fucking computer screen and we're all developing muscle atrophy because our ass is nailed to the computer chair, basicaly implaying we're all fat computer geeks and your so motherfucking perfect, you are the only one that knows what's good in life and how to enjoy it properly!!
life and enjoyment is a subjective thing....if you like playing basketball or doing other group activities that doesn't mean other do....
also many people ( including me ) find surfing a relaxing activity after a busy day of studying or working....
unless you're 95 years old and have been arround the world once or twice you have no business giving other people advice on how to live their lives....

Calm down people... If the tread offends you, dont read it. Easy as that. The outdoors are something that has been enjoyed for 100's of years, but if you don't want to go outside than don't. Zealious isan't calling you lazy or fat and neither am I. We are simply saying we enjoy it and are trying to tell others that. Chill out...

id go outside more if it wasnt 120 degrees. As it is i work my typical 5 days/40 hours, spend 2 nights a week at my kids swim meets, band practice, and still find time to keep the house organized, food in the fridge, bills paid on time, cars in running condition, wife happy, pets groomed, lawn clean, and teach my son how to do fun things like drawing on the walls with chalk, playing basketball and t-ball, etc. etc. Life gets busy fast, sometimes i wish i could go back in time and not have any cares except for how im gonna lounge away my days over the summer.
