You can mute other peoples music and play ur own stuff and still chat without interrupting everyone else.

I love how the movie doesn't just attack how corporations dehumanize people, but also encapsulates and celebrates the simple desires of the average person in a way that's oddly profound. The man doesn't want riches or power, he just wants a cheesy, unrealistic, male fantasy. And that's okay.
