:thumb: and we have life! This reminds me of one of those supernatural movies where all life ends and then everybody comes back as Zombies.

I'm gonna give my speech now. Gentleman and Ladies, Get ready to assemble! Notice I did not say rumble  Anyway I appreciate the kindness all of you have shown me, especially now when you seen me struggling and crying the S.O.S. I am shocked so many of you cared enough to post in this thread out of good fellowship and showing care for your fellow man including the future of this forum. I hope all of your invested posts are a small deposit on the rewards you are going to reap from my participation. Look at my AV and then look at my name. I am one smooth criminal. How can you not like what you see? This is only the beginning of greater things to come hence my membership of Banter...I'm hoping. btw I can share a few more smiles to the smiles page if there is interest. I feel like there are some more expressions that would be utilized if there were more options. also is there a "my posts" or "my threads" options to quickly refer to previous posts, threads and participation? |
Click on your username on the left; you'll see the options to "find more posts by this user" and "find threads started by this user". You can also find those options on the statistics section of your profile.

I havent read all the responses so i hope dont repeat anything thats already been said...
Have you ever read "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr Seuss? you sound a lot like the character who refuses to give new music a try, either "on a train or in the rain, in a house or with a mouse...." I had your back on your introductory thread, so i wont repeat myself, but the whole premise of THIS thread, whether half-joking or not, comes off as very closeminded. Yes, vintage rock is (generally speaking) a great genre IMO (and at the very least a pioneering part of music evolution/history), but you might be surprised at how much of a vintage twist some of the newer stuff has... If you made a thread requesting recommendations for songs meeting that criterion, you'd probably get some interesting and mind-opening replies to temper all the smartass ones. Just sayin |

I'm trying to be open minded but when I hear music that hurts my ears it's hard to continue. It's like someone taking a knife and pushing it against your skin just enough to irritate without penetrating. I do give new music a chance but I'm quick to hit the stop button if I do not like it. I did compliment a member here for posting a song that I could tolerate but that was it. Thank you for the great ideas. I will entertain them soon. :) |

I want to send him a rare Genesis live concert video file that plays Office Space instead.

I guess TH is too strong willed to join the plug cult. Pack it up and move on guys.

Too bad for TH, it was such a laid back part of MusicBanter - with very few exceptions. But still who knows he might had enjoyed himself spinning his favorite diddies. He would also feel the warmth and love of his fellow co-musicbanterers chatting and listeing to tunes. People enjoying or not enjoying what he played. Spending too much time in it, falling behind in his journal writings, loosing precious hours of sleep... all good stuff. His loss. :( |

im not a giant fan of plug either. just prefer to listen to albums than individual songs.
|
I have fun when I'm on there, but for the most part I'm just waiting for my turn and shooting the ****. I almost never care enough about what someone else plays to seek that music out on my own.

From now on, Plug DJ is on the same personal ignore list as Office Space is. Talk all you like about either to me, I will completely ignore any reference to them. I've asked you to let it go, to leave me alone about these two subjects but you delight in annoying me so you can all suck it. If you refuse to get the message, I'll ignore you. Not your post, nor you yourself, just any reference to either. I'm done with both, have been for a long time. I'm 52 years old and I do not have to explain these decisions to anyone, nor justify them. |

So TH is finally gonna join plug to watch Office Space? Sweet.

Office plug space.
Spacing plugs in office. Official space plugs. Plug my office space. Plug plug plug. Office office office. Space space space. I'm 3 years older than you and you make me feel young! |

Office Space is awesome and Trollheart is really missing out. He'll never know true comedy. |
Ignoring something you'd probably love to spite those who pressured you since they knew you'd love it. Classic TH logic.
