I joined to talk about music and develop my tastes. I didn't expect to stick around for this long or make too many friends, but it happened and I'm pretty stoked about that. I mean, people have offered to put a roof over my head purely because of interactions on this here and sister sites like plug and tinychat. That's pretty cool.

I was eventually named as a moderator and I now delete spam.

I was a member of another music forum, and the members there started talking about the mass banning that had been taking place on this site at that time. I think it was the Booboo meltdown era. I love a good challenge, so I became a member. I settled in with the natives, and they took me in as their own. I eventually made my way through the ranks, and after various feats of manliness, I and am now engaged to be married to the head chiefs daughter. This is both terrifying and exasperating, as she is not exactly what I had expected, since I could only get a glimpse of her through the wall of Chinese spam bots that constantly bombard the ramparts of her lair. She is a hairy beast, and if I back out now, I'll only perpetuate my inevitable demise.

Came here to talk music and get told I'm hot by nerds. Then I discovered plug.dj thanks to this site, and that's where I do most of my music discussion nowadays. I still pop in here to shoot the **** on lunch break and stuff, but I was definitely more active when I only worked four hours a day.

Got myself banned from a long time site that was steadily veering way too far to the bible thumping tea party right. 7+ years and 20K posts down the drain.

Googled "best music forum". Amazingly this site popped up. That was 9 months ago.
