As I'm sure you know, here in Lafayette you can do both at the same time. Tanning beds come standard with laundromats.

Before I moved here I can't tell you how many times I was doing my laundry thinking...**** I could be tanning right now.

lol I forgot they have Levee Laundry and Tan, way before the Jersey Shore.

I used to go to this ghetto place on the south side called Papa Buds. It was a strip mall that had a laundry mat, pizza place, bar/pub, and a video store; it was all owned by the same dude (Papa Bud, presumably). It was quite convenient, especially on Mondays ($1 beer night). Go down there, toss a few loads of laundry in, grab a few dollar beers, order a pizza and maybe even pick up a movie on the way home. I don't think it's there anymore, I think it's been replaced by a place called Ace's Pub now. But those were the good ol' days.

My day was pretty good, but also kind of worrying. For a part of this week i'm seeing what university is like - going to lectures and classes. it's the university i'll probably end up at and the subject i'll probably end up studying (political science), but i'm doubting if i'm the right type of person to study at university. they read 50-100 pages for each lecture they go to - in english and in danish. i'd probably lack the discipline to finish all that reading.
speaking of which - i have to finish a physics paper for tomorrow. i found my books almost two hours ago and i've yet to open them..
