Day ruined. Literally crying.

Went to get my Trey Anastasio ticket, had JUST ENOUGH for one ticket and would have had $10 left over, and they're sold out now. They weren't sold out last night, and I just got the money...

I'm pretty much completely devastated. The cheapest scalpers are selling them for is $75 each...and I had $55 total on my card.

Come on...you can find 20 bucks somewhere. At least with scalpers you have some time. I feel your pain, though...this has happened to me way too many times.

As for me...my project at work is FINALLY starting to work! In a nutshell, we have a mutant plant and we think we know the gene that is causing this mutation. I am trying to compliment the mutant gene with a non-mutated (wild type) gene and show that it "fixes" the mutation. Molecular biology is a bitch sometimes and cloning can take months...after many hardships and lots of stress, I finally got my gene cloned and it is ready to be forcefully shoved into my mutant plant! Playing god is awesome.

It's happened to me too. Can't say I've ever cried about it though.

The worst was when I was supposed to see Godflesh, one of my favorite bands, and they ended up breaking up the night before their US tour.

Ahhwww.... Poor dear!
I know how I would feel if I couldn't go to a calexico concert or to the Lowlands festival. It would be devastating.
Am I the only one thinking: If we all give you 50 cents...

I had a fun day today. I saw Pariisin Kevät which is a great finnish band. I'm sorry guys but I'm so drunk I feel I can't function. I havent drank for 1,5 years so I'm ****ed up at the moment :)
