I used to be able to sleep with music on and lights like from the tv but not anymore I need complete darkness and as quiet as possible.

The bars around me are about a block or two away from me so it's not like I can hear rowdy drunk people being asses.

Awww man, you're such a legend. We need to party. If I'm ever in the Newcastle area, pit stop at your local!

I woke up this morning after a wondrous sleep, one of the best I have had in weeks. The day was pretty much downhill from there. I was in the kitchen this morning while getting ready, and was texting in between getting ready for work. I finished sending a message, and went to put the phone on the side and I dropped it... not too bad, I've dropped phones before and they've been okay, I drop my iPod at least once a fortnight and its always fine.

Today though, I tried to ease the fall of my phone with my foot. Its a pretty new phone, I got a BlackBerry Bold 9780 about a month ago, and am still in the 'OMG I HAVE SOMETHING NEW' phase with it. I was still half asleep, so when I went to put my foot out to ease the fall, I swung my leg WAY too hard and instead of gently lowering the phone to the floor I ended up basically dropkicking the phone... straight into the freezer in the kitchen.

I check the phone, a little scratch on the side of the phone. Thats not too bad I thought, then I checked the actual display and the bottom half of it (below the scratch at the side basically) has died. This evening it has gotten worse as well, I can now basically just inform people that I have 3g coverage and nothing else.

I didnt get the phone insured when I got it either, I was being stingy, and now I have to pay upwards of £60 apprently to get a new LCD screen put in. I think this is fully deserving of a FML tbh, so here it is.

FML

I'm sorry that I laughed about that mate. That phone rocks, it's a pity.
And I am sorry that you don't live anywhere nearer as a friend of mine repaires blackberry's (and laptops) for a living. Yeah. Would have been a lot cheaper. But then of course you'd have lost your warranty.

Ah well, at least you've had a nice night of sleep :D

Hehe well I don't live there anymore, but I'll take you there! :) Or you can come to my local as it is now, and confuse everyone with your ridiculous Scottishness. :D

Went into town with my dad and had a discussion about light and why we can't see it in the universe my dad said it was because 'it's in bit's n peices until it's in the atmosphere'. It is strange that it's there in the sun, so to speak then here on earth and we can't see it outside the atmosphere.
I went in the library and asked the librarin if they had a computer to look for a book and when I'd used it to find a book she asked me if I'd found it and then said 'well done'!! Well done!!! All I had to do was type a keyword, Radiohead if you wanna know, and then find where about in the library the music section was then look under 816.70. Patroinishig cow. Luckily it wasn't the librarain i'm besotted with...she's cool!
