But There's two HD's with the same data on different sides of the house and a alu suitcase with DVD"s somewhere in between. Chances are very slim I will lose all three of them.

Extreme measures guys. I treasure my photos most. They're a pain in the hole to get back. Some lost forever. That's what scares me. Whereas with music I'll be like "oh I've no (insert artist) I'm going to download that ****.

I just spend four hours painting a mural with a bunch of awesome people. It was pretty fun, and considering that I'm not an artist by any merit, I think I did a pretty good job. I'll be sure to post some pictures.

So guys, how was your day? I'm more interested in how all of you have been doing.

One of my mom's friend's houses burnt down to the ground about a month ago and she lost EVERYTHING. The house isn't even salvageable. I think the worst thing to lose in a house fire or storm or whatever, is not things like clothes, toys, furniture, or other material things that can be replaced, but things like photos, family heirlooms, mementos - all the stuff that can never be replaced.

Worst of all, though, would be losing one's animal friends and of course human loved-ones in a fire. As for things, I actually wouldn't care at all if I lost photos, family heirlooms, or mementos. Hopefully the things I cherish most...items I like due to their association with people or pets I love...are stored as memories anyway. A fire hopefully won't consume those.

Today I awoke at 1 a.m. because my child is on the third day of having a fever that wakes him at night and causes him to start to burn and breathe shallowly. I got him some water and he fell back asleep, but now I'm up for a time.

Scarlet Fever has been going around his school...even one of the adults got it...and one child needed two different treatments of antibiotics to kill off the bacteria. I'm hoping that my child simply has caught one of the viral illnesses...a headache and cough...that is going around school, too. Elementary schools are breeding grounds of contagion. Mucus everywhere.

I just went downstairs to the kitchen, in the dark, and upon opening the door, got a cobweb and spider in my face.

Blurgh.
