The mic / stool setup would have been difficult to accomplish.

It's a nice stage, too. With a great sound system and lights (thank you, University of Kentucky), but I just panicked.

And I left my guitar at home, because I got cold feet before I even went and was going to support my friends...then my buddy Roger was all, "Dude, you can play my guitar..." and it's a really ****ing NICE Martin acoustic. And I still couldn't do it.

I'm spending the next three weeks motivating myself to do the next one. Even when people were awful, they got applause. I'm just too much of a perfectionist, and forgot the lyrics to "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" which was my main reason for not doing it.

I worked, watched anime, read a book, worked out, went to a thrift store, paid my credit card bill, and posted on here today.
Today has been just fine so far.

Have you ever tried going on a busy area or street corner and performing? just take out your guitar and leave your case open, maybe you'll get some a few tips AND you'll get some experience performing in front of people so you can feel more comfortable.

Today was a good day for me. I woke up in the morning to a very slow start and decided to put my brain into sleep mode and just relax. I cancelled a large majority of my appointments. I only went to one of them because I just had to meet the Assemblyman for my area to ask him a few questions.

Today shall be a well earned rest day. I might make it as far as a friends house later today for a few drinks.

I've been at my job for over 2 months now and am still overjoyed to be working again. I've been working long hours, banking quite a bit of flexi time but definitely starting to feel the effects a little now. Still, I'm on day one of a three day weekend and then after my four day week next week, I am off for ten days! Cannot bloody wait.

Just got back from the MEN Arena for a full dress rehearsal/sneak preview of Batman Live.
In a word... extravagant.
The Kids loved it.
