Does Philly get really humid in the summer? It does here, ughhhh. That's why I enjoyed California so much - all the heat and no humidity. I love the heat!

It's a rainy chilly day in VA

The British Isles are not mild in autumn or winter, probably not as cold as where you are in winter but they are wet, cold and windy for about 6 or 7 months of the year.

If they are wet instead of frozen then that definitely means they are mild in my book.

Yep, it gets pretty hot and humid here in the summer. Not as bad as somewhere like Florida by any means, but still pretty uncomfortable.

That still doesn't make an endless supply of rain any less dank and depressing, I'd fancy a change from any weather if its persistent enough.

Just can't catch a break right now. Still haven't gotten called about any of the job applications I put in, still haven't talked to my dad, and still haven't strapped on the balls to say anything to my friend about the girl.

The last part is the one that's almost got me crying right now. Friday is the day that my friends and I get together and watch SmackDown. I hate being alone on the weekends, so that's a good tradition.

With no warning, my friend first told me he was sick and wouldn't be able to watch it, so I was going to be alone on Friday night like a loser, then I found out he was out on a date with the girl I was into.

You know. The girl that I'd been talking to until he berated me and made me feel like an ******* because it was a friend's ex...but she and I had really hit it off and I was actually really into her.

Yeah, well, he swooped right in, went on a date with her, then got the blessing of the other friend.

I haven't had a ****ing real date in over three years. This ******* has had three different relationships in the past year. He didn't even KNOW the girl I was talking to. He just texted her, asking if she could get weed, met up with her (without the knowledge of my friend who'd dated her or myself) and then decided he was going to ask her out.

KNOWING DAMN WELL that it was the girl I'd been talking to and he'd been like, "Dude, no, that's off limits."

I'm probably going to go ****ing ballistic on him when I finally do say something, because it's been bottled up for a little while now.

Oh, and today, he and I were going to a friend's house, but he's completely bailed. Again.

I'm probably going to go buy some booze and drink alone tonight.

I heard it's one of the worse for humidity because the city is located between two rivers. The temp might not get as high as other places, but in mid-summer it's never ending - the concrete, asphalt and brick absorbs heat during the day and radiates it off at night.

Same climate as here, then. I like summer, but sometimes I just can't take the humidity. It was really bad when I was working at a camp a few summers ago, cooking in a non-airconditioned kitchen and also outside on barbeques. Got a pretty decent paycheck for it though :)

I hate Australian summers... so thankful ours has recently ended. Bring on winter!
