Had several people tell at work tell me they were turned down for door dash based on either driving or criminal record. One guy just had speeding and something else a couple times and he was turned down. It wasn't anything really serious.

I'm slowly starting to realize that i probably won't even qualify to door dash under my own license or name... I am wondering about the other apps and how strict they are now. One thing i hate about the modern world is that there's always paper trail and you can't just pick up and move to a new town and reinvent yourself perhaps to some type of doctor for horses or a country lawyer...

See this is where I like to show dedicated unconcern. Treat your manager and their questions just like if they were a normal co-worker and never show any reaction to their scrutiny. For advanced ****ery throw in just a dash of visible confusion as to why they're so worked up about whatever you've done to drive them up the wall, and when you know and they know you're responsible for something just admit it without spin or emotion. That one really throws them off.

Today I'm heading out to carve some new fairways into our DG clubs home course. This course was created in 1984 and I've been working with the original creator/designer on the redesign. The park district is also on board and is looking to install a large playground that will be integrated into the overall design and they've been allocated quite a large sum of money to do this. They're hoping for a grand opening type of thing by Labor Day. This speaks volumes for the level of growth in popularity for Disc Golf, as in previous years they were considering tearing the entire course up.

We've already installed all the tee sign posts and put a good dent in the new fairways yesterday but there's lots more to go.

Been working on my crypto/web3 book recently again, 46 pages deep. Probably sell for just $3.33 on amazon digital.
Going to print up copies too, not much because that shi t costs a lot. The goal is to explain crypto and everything about it at the level of understanding everyone can understand, to the best of my knowledge.

no way in, but I cleared it before my help arrived.

The roughed in fairway. I'm standing at the edge
of where the tee pad will be. The basket will be
way in the back where that large tree is thats
barely visible, which is dead and needs to be stumped
to about 24" and then the basket will be mounted in
the stump for a bit of an elevated putt. This will be
the new Hole 12, 280 FT, with a Double Mando and slightly up hill:

so we work well together. We knocked that

It was going okay but then I learned the cat shelter I used to volunteer at is closing down.

I did write a bit of an outline for a short story, now I just need an ending.

I've been getting my taxes in order and have been corresponding with a tax accountant through emails and today I started out the email by calling her Karen. Her name is Katherine. I am so screwed.

I have to salute the genius who decided that all whiny priviliged white women must be named Karen. I'm sure the majority of women named Karen, who I'm sure are perfectly nice people, must be thrilled.

She got back to me right away with a chuckle.

Really though, my heart goes out to all the Karens of the world, and all the Kyles too. I had to live through the "It's Pat" era and it was no cake walk. Scary stuff.
