Can't believe this weather - every day rain, rain and more rain. It's getting a little ridiculous now.

It's a 10-speed bike, but the gears are not aligned properly (probably due to it sitting in a basement for 10 years), so I have to get that checked out.

I think Miele has gotten more into mountain and all-terrain type bikes, and those cruiser bikes, so their racing models are rarer now.
I do mostly mountain bike stuff these days as its easier to do and more practical but the feeling a road bike gives is far more special, it gives a feeling of both speed and freedom, enjoy riding the Miele.

Wait, doesn't all of England rain constantly? Isn't that your main export? Drizzle?

If you look at a map of the UK, the western side which includes the south west, west, north west, Wales, western Scotland and all of Ireland northern and southern get huge amounts of rain off the Atlantic. The central areas which includes London still get a lot of rain but less, but the eastern side of the UK is actually very dry. I lived there for a year once and it hardly ever rained!

Dude...I just found online scanes of Batman: The Killing Joke, which is apparently THE definitive Joker story. I'm used to being able to find manga scans online, but I've never found honest to god American comic scans. I think I just had a nerdgasm. Yup. I did.

I'm reading all the Marvel titles at the moment and am stuck in the late 1970s.

i'm reading mostly modern stuff, more Marvel than DC now

it's just more realistic and they have adult themes

i just got some of the recent Batman & Robin, after Bruce "died"

and Batman is Dick Grayson

and Robin is Damian, Bruce's son

Don't you mean DC is more realistic?

I'm reading late 70s Avengers at the moment, love these issues, just finished a three part story with Count Nefaria bashing the Avengers for most of it.
